Privacy Policy
This policy explains how we handle personal data on this website. As we operate from Germany, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) apply. For visitors in Switzerland, the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revDSG) applies accordingly.

2. Which data we process when you visit
When you visit this website, our hosting provider automatically stores technically necessary data in server log files: IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, the referrer URL, and browser and operating-system information. This is required to deliver the website and keep it secure and stable.
3. Purposes and legal basis
We process this data to provide the website and ensure its stability and security. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure, reliable operation of the site (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Where you contact us, we process your data to handle your request (Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR).
4. Fonts and third-party content
We host all web fonts on our own server. No data is transmitted to third-party font providers (such as Google Fonts) when you load this site. We do not embed external content that would transfer your data to third parties on page load.
5. Contact by email
If you contact us by email, we process your email address and the content of your message to handle your enquiry (Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR). We delete this data once it is no longer required, unless statutory retention periods apply.
6. Job applications
If you apply through the form on our careers page, the data you enter (such as your name, contact details and the content of your application) is transmitted and processed on our behalf by our form-processing provider Formcarry, acting as a processor under a data-processing agreement. Depending on the provider’s infrastructure, this data may be processed on servers outside the EU/EEA; in that case the transfer is safeguarded by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. The legal basis is the initiation of an employment relationship (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, § 26 BDSG). We delete application data no later than six months after the process has ended, unless you consent to longer storage.
7. Cookies and analytics
This website sets no tracking cookies and uses no analytics or advertising services. The AI check runs entirely in your browser; your answers are not transmitted or stored.
8. Recipients and processors
We share personal data only with service providers that process it on our behalf under a data-processing agreement (currently our hosting provider and, for applications, Formcarry), or where we are legally required to do so. We do not sell personal data.
9. International transfers
Where personal data is processed outside the EU/EEA, we ensure an adequate level of protection through an adequacy decision or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
10. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above or as required by law. Server log data is generally deleted within a few days; application data is deleted no later than six months after the process ends.
11. Your rights
You have the right to information about, and to rectification, erasure or restriction of, your personal data, and to object to its processing and to data portability (Art. 15–21 GDPR). Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time with future effect. To exercise these rights, contact contact.adaimpact@gmail.com.
12. Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA). Visitors in Switzerland may contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
13. Changes
We may update this policy to reflect changes to our services or the law. The current version published here always applies.
